My Homemade Cleaner
I wanted to share my favorite homemade cleaner to date. Its simple, fast and easy to make. Also there are no harsh chemicals and it costs way less than regular store bought cleaners. I use it on everything.
From counter tops, sink, carpet, and microwave, it works great for me. (I would do a spot test on carpet first to make sure it won’t stain. It hasn’t on mine.) I use it daily on my sons table to clean up his food mess without having to worry about the harsh chemicals.
Besides getting rid of cleaners that stink and have chemicals, one of the things I’ve realized over the years is I don’t need to have a separate cleaner for every little mess. I’ve pared my cleaners down to a about 4 that I use on a regular basis. This recipe being the one I use the most. It’s so nice to only have a couple versatile cleaners.
It saves money and cupboard space. It’s also nice to not have to lug a bucket of various cleaners around the house or run to the store if I run out. I try to keep the ingredients on hand so I can make it whenever I need a new batch. They are also multipurpose ingredients so they can be used for other things. I just use a clear spray bottle because I use it up so fast. If it will take you awhile to use the cleaner I would use a dark spray bottle so the hydrogen peroxide will not lose its potency. You can even just put a spray nozzle on the hydrogen peroxide bottle itself.
